Faith That Overcomes Fear

As you may already know, World Ministries International has two distinct prayer departments, Gate Breakers and the Soldiers of the Cross. If you have prayer needs Karen Buckardt and her team, Gate Breakers, want to stand with you to see you through to receiving your answer from God. As head of the Soldiers of the Cross, I oversee the prayer department of intercessors that focuses specifically on praying for Apostle Hansen and the goals, vision and staff of WMI. One of those goals is to have over 2,000 intercessors in every nation that we minister in, including America. If you are interested in joining with us as an intercessor I would love to hear from you. Be sure to call our office and ask to speak with me.

This past week I had the wonderful experience of partnering with the Holy Spirit. He showed me once again how everything in this physical world is a result of either FAITH, which is agreeing with and doing Father’s will, or FEAR, agreeing with and doing the Devil’s will.

You see, I had the amazing opportunity to be present for the birth of my friend’s baby and, like so many times in my life, the Lord used the experience to teach me lessons of the Kingdom. I received the phone call that my friend had entered into labor, and quickly drove her to the mid-wives’ home where she would give birth. The birthing process began around 3am in the morning and, after over 20 hours of labor, nothing much was happening. As I was in prayer, supporting my friend, it occurred to me through discernment that the birth of this baby was blocked. As I sought the Lord, I asked Him, “What’s going on here Lord?” He opened my eyes to see that fear had gripped my friend and caused her, in a sense, to “freeze,” which hindered the labor from moving forward. By agreeing with fear, this baby’s birth was delayed, even stopped. During those first 20 hours, the mother to-be even took a long series of naps over several hours, between her slowing contractions. Even the midwives napped since they could not persuade her to move on confidently. After some personal apprehension, I finally addressed the issue with her and she quickly confessed to being quite afraid. She immediately renounced her fear, and turned to God in faith. In response, Jesus spoke His truth to her heart and instantly her fear was broken. I continued praying in the Spirit until I sensed the battle was over and the “fruit” was visible in the physical. To my relief, and shortly thereafter, her labor resumed to the amazement of the mid-wives. Those mid-wives couldn’t get over the sudden change that had occurred!! I realized that I had truly witnessed the power of repentance and faith which set my friend free to turn her eyes onto Jesus and quickly enter the final phase of birthing. She had been released from the grip of fear and was able to freely give birth within the next hour and a half. It was then that the Holy Spirit reminded me that prayer brings the spiritual reality into the natural.

Matt 6:9-10
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. NIV

I am absolutely convinced that the Lord put me through this experience to demonstrate that truly nothing occurs in this physical world that is not first born in the Spirit! This experience also clearly showed me that our fears can and do abort the birth and establishment of His Kingdom in our lives and in the work that God has called us to support and be a part of. Fear can not only stop the growth of our spiritual man, it can keep us in deception. If we are kept in deception, then our will can hinder God’s will and it can even override it! Think about how scary that is! What if Mary, the natural mother of Jesus, had given in to fear? What if John the Baptist had succumbed to fear and shrunk back from his ministry? How many destinies are being altered, or simply aborted, when the enemy has his way in our fearful, rebellious hearts instead of the Holy Spirit having His way?

On a daily basis I realize that fear keeps me from stepping out of my comfort zone and stops me from stepping out in faith. Only to the extent God can trust me to obey His will can His kingdom be released in and around me. In other words, how much of Jesus am I letting out is in direct proportion to how much of me I’m entrusting to Him.

In the parable of the talents, Matthew 25: 18, 24 says that, “he who had received the one talent went and dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.”

Verse 24: “He who had received one talent also came forward saying, Master, I knew you to be harsh, reaping where you did not sow and gathering where you had not winnowed. So I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground.”

It is so important that we let His Word wash and renew our minds from all humanism, selfish desires and deception. All fleshly prayers are born in our own human wisdom. We must spend time in His Word to be able to discern and pray Our Father’s will. We must allow the continual work of the Holy Spirit in our heart. Be ready to cast off any hindrances to His holy presence in our life and allow Him to do surgery on our soul. Could it be that we’ve been around the mountain several times, not realizing it was not the enemy, but God himself who sent us in circles? He has been trying to birth something through us, and instead of entering the promise land by faith, we have been frozen in deception and in fear. We must learn to remain in His presence, listening to His voice, that we might obey. Isaiah 51:4 Hearken unto me, my people and give ear unto Me, O my nation. Hosea 2:14 said it well: I will lead her into solitude, and there I will speak to her heart.

There is no other way to walk by faith but entrusting our entire life to the one who loves our soul. I pray that you would let Holy Spirit search you and reveal any fear that remains in you and hinders Him from bringing forth that which He wants you to birth in you. That being the thing He had in mind for your life even before the creation of the universe, your destiny. I pray you will be moved by Faith (agreeing with and obeying the will of God) and NOT by fear to bring Him Glory. Romans 8:18-19 says, “For I consider the sufferings of this present time are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us. For creation waits expectantly for the sons of God to be made known.”

Do we realize what spiritual season we are living in? Or are we like the five virgins who are busy partaking of the world instead of filling their lamps with oil? Has fear kept you from filling your lamps? Is Fear one of the giants keeping you from trusting God and entering the Promise Land? We at WMI have set our hearts and minds to believe every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. God has said there will be an army of 200,000 who will join with World Ministries International and we are crossing over the Jordan into the land. We are recruiting supporters, intercessors, ministers and lay-people to come along side, pick up their sword and join the battle with us.

Crossroads

For some time now, Jesus has taken the church of America to a crossroads. For a long time it might have seemed that we had many choices as we pursued our calling and destiny within this great nation. But the clarion call of God is sounding louder and louder and its call is clear.

Isa 58:1
“Shout it aloud, do not hold back. Raise your voice like a trumpet. Declare to my people their rebellion and to the house of Jacob their sins. NIV

All of the choices we once thought we had have been reduced to two. Are we going to lay down our lives and serve Jesus, or are we going to live for ourselves? Many Christians mistakenly call sin cheating, lying, stealing, pornography, etc. In actuality, these and others I could list are manifestations of sin (Galatians 5:19). Sin is better defined as a man or woman, sitting on the throne of their lives (a place that rightfully only belongs to God) and choosing to rule their own lives. Unfortunately, this describes many “Christians” today who claim they are in God’s will. They claim they are on their way to their destiny, but are living selfish, unproductive lives, refusing to allow Jesus to rule and reign over them. Yet, the plumb line of demarcation has been laid before us, and God is demanding a response. On which side of the plumb line will you stand?

Amos 7:7-8
This is what he showed me: The Lord was standing by a wall that had been built true to plumb, with a plumb line in his hand. And the LORD asked me, “What do you see, Amos?” “A plumb line,” I replied. Then the Lord said, “Look, I am setting a plumb line among my people Israel; I will spare them no longer. NIV

Isa 60:1-2
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. 2 See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. NIV

Will we lay down our lives and let His glory rise upon us, giving all praise to Jesus, or will we let the darkness that is now covering the earth envelop us? These have always been the only two choices the Lord has offered. For those of you who are getting these newsletters, I understand that I may be “preaching to the choir.” Nevertheless, I believe the Holy Spirit wants to remind us of that which we have already heard. The apostle Paul exhorted the Philippians in Chapter 3 verse 16 to “keep living by that same standard to which we have attained.” In the same way, I remind you of the example of the Israelites as God led them out of Egypt, across the wilderness, and into the promised land of their destiny.

Heb 2:1-3
We must pay more careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. For if the message spoken by angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment, how shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation? NIV

Heb 3:7-19
So, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion, during the time of testing in the desert, where your fathers tested and tried me and for forty years saw what I did. That is why I was angry with that generation, and I said, ‘Their hearts are always going astray, and they have not known my ways.’ So I declared on oath in my anger, ‘They shall never enter my rest.’” See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first. As has just been said: “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion.” Who were they who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt? And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the desert? And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest if not to those who disobeyed? So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief. NIV

Like the Israelites of old, each of us is on a journey toward our destiny. In the Old Testament story, the writer speaking to Jews is using the example of the unbelieving generation in their history that refused to go into the Promised Land with Joshua and Caleb. In the story, they had already been delivered from Egypt (saved) and God wanted to take them to the Promised Land. The lesson here is that, once we are born again out of the world (Egypt), the journey has just begun. Just like the generation who died in the wilderness, we too can avert our destiny and not enter into the promise land due to disobedience from unbelief. Those Israelites who died in the desert did so not because they did not hear God. They died because they did hear but did not put their bodies into action which is faith. If we hear God’s leading and do nothing, God calls it disobedience. Their problem was easily diagnosed; they heard the word but were not persuaded and did not mix the message with faith (action). World Ministries International has been faithfully declaring the warning of impending judgment that is coming upon America and the nations. The spirit of the beast is pressing upon America in absolute hatred toward believers. You have heard this word through newsletters, radio, and television. Now, more than ever, you and I must not only hear the call of God, we must now apply our faith and come to action called obedience. Do we really believe that judgment is coming? Do we really believe that God has called World Ministries International to sound the alarm so the true church of Jesus Christ can prepare herself? If you truly believe, then you are partners with us. God has ordained us to faithfully preach the truth and warn the nations about what God is sending upon them. In order to do that, we need your support in every way possible. We need you to join with us. We need your prayers and we need your faithful giving. If you are not already receiving the Tape of the Month, I encourage you to do so. You will receive our bi-monthly newsletters and a one hour audio cassette or CD of meat from the word from our radio program. By stepping into action and supporting us with twenty five dollars ($25.00) per month we can fulfill the commission of God upon this ministry.

God has said He will give us 200,000 “Tape of the Month” supporters. Imagine what could be accomplished if an army of 200,000 people gave just $25.00 per month!!! If you are reading this newsletter then I believe you are part of that army and one of the 200,000 God has called. Some of us in that army are called to go to the nations and others are called to remain and faithfully support from wherever we are. Either way we are all a part of the same army serving our commander, the Lord Jesus Christ. Remember the promise of King David to his army as they fulfilled their destiny:

1 Sam 30:24-25
“The share of the man who stayed with the supplies is to be the same as that of him who went down to the battle. All will share alike.” David made this a statute and ordinance for Israel from that day to this. NIV

To answer the call of God is to fulfill our destiny. If God has called you to support this ministry then it, too, is the fulfillment your destiny. The time has come for all of us to put the hand to the plow, in whatever capacity we are ordained for, because the Kingdom of God is at hand!! Amen!!

In 1990 the Lord told me to “speak the truth and my people will back you.” He also told me to ask for 200,000 real warriors who are burdened over the condition of the church and the world and will help me “sound the alarm.” These 200,000 people will not only pray for me to be strong and courageous to give the “warning” to the nations without compromise, but they will give a love offering of at least $25 each month. This will qualify them as “Tape of the Month Partners.” Each month these partners will have one week of radio messages on a cassette or CD as well as two articles sent to them. The articles will strengthen, develop and encourage them to be faithful in their local church, city, state and country where they live. The week’s radio message will truly bless them as well as update them on my monthly activities, etc.

I also have a “Video of the Month Partnership” opportunity. Each month these people will have one week of my television program “Warning” on video cassette, one week of radio messages on a cassette or CD, as well as two articles sent to them.

Dear reader, the signs of the times are truly upon us. I desperately need your prayers and financial support to reach the nations. Some people do not like to hear talk about giving, but usually it is because those people are selfish. Throughout both the Old and New Testament the needs were expressed and love offerings were given. We read in the book of Acts, Galatians, 2 Corinthians, etc., that relief aid was sent with the Apostles to the church in need (Acts 11:29-30; Gal. 2:10; 2 Cor. chapters 8-9). I do not ask for money for myself but for the needs of the church. We need to help many more people with food, clothing, dental and medical care as well as increase ministry to the widows and orphans (James 1:27), but we are limited by finances.

Also, most of the 88 nations where God has given me a prophecy for, we have not been able to make it known to the people in those nations except through the web site. However, most people in third world countries do not have access to the internet nor do they own computers. I need you to help me go to those nations and saturate them with the truth of the gospel in church and crusade meetings as well as other forms of media to get the message of warning in front of the people living in those nations.

PLEASE DECIDE TODAY TO HELP ME REACH THE NATIONS WITH YOUR SUPPORT AND HELP ME RECRUIT OTHER CHRISTIANS THAT ARE AWARE OF THE HOUR WE ALL ARE LIVING IN. PASS THIS ON TO YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS NOW WHILE WE HAVE FREEDOM TO WORK FOR JESUS! God be with you——Jonathan Hansen
