Many people erroneously believe that God puts leaders into office who rule cities, states and nations. So, we are just expected to accept the inevitable because the leader is God’s choice and His will. This reasoning is incorrect. It comes from a lack of education and understanding of God’s holy Word. Leadership exists in homes, schools, businesses, government and in every area of society, but because it exists does not mean that God put those individuals in place; nor does it mean that God condones their behavior and blesses that leadership. It is not God who chooses leadership in the home, business, or nation--but men and women choose who they want to elect...and who they marry. Let us read the following scriptures:

2 Corinthians 4:4: “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”

Luke 4:5-8: "5) And the devil, taking him up into a high mountain, showed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6) And the devil said unto him, all this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. 7) If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. 8) And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve."

John 12:31: “Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.”

Hosea 8:4: They have set up kings, but not by me: they have made princes, and I knew it not: of their silver and their gold have they made them idols, that they may be cut off.”

Throughout the totality of the Bible the contextual message is that God allows humans to choose who they will serve. Jesus Christ does not force anyone to follow or obey him. He does not approve of the behavior of leaders who are liars, adulterers, whoremongers, drunkards, thieves, tribalistic, racist, serving other gods, abortionists, homosexuals, lesbians, agnostics, atheists, or narcissists. He will bring judgment upon them all and the countries they rule.

Until Jesus returns to the earth to rule and reign during the Battle of Armageddon, the devil is the ruler of this world, and citizens of nations either elect their country's leaders into office or some warmonger forces his way into leadership through crimes against humanity. Usually these elected leaders and dictators serve and submit themselves to Satan instead of Jesus Christ. The consequences for themselves and their nations are forewarned in the following scriptures:

Romans 1:22-31 : "22) Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23) And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four footed beasts, and creeping things. 24) Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves (sodomites). 25) Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26) For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature (lesbians). 27) And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men (homosexuals) working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet (diseases). 28) And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient (homosexuality, lesbianism, bestiality, incest, pedophilia). 29) Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30) Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31) Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32) Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them."

1 Corinthians 5: 9,11: "9) I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:..11) But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator (someone who worships idols or other religions and other gods), or a railer (to shout abuse and utter curses), or a drunkard, or an extortioner (overcharging money); with such an one no not to eat."

1 Corinthians 6:9-10: "9) Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (a womanish man or girlish boy), nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10) Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God."

In 2 Samuel 23:3 we read God’s ideal for leadership, although most leaders do not measure up to this Biblical standard: “The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God.”

God sent eight prophets to Israel over a period of 130 years prior to the dispersion of the ten northern tribes, warning the people to repent and obey the laws of God or He would send destruction. God sent the prophets Elisha, Obadiah, Joel, Jonah, Amos, Hosea, Isaiah, and Micah. When the majority of the people continued to reject the warnings of God, which is the grace and mercy of God, finally the cup of iniquity became full. (Matthew 23:32-33; Leviticus 26:14-33; Revelation 18:4-8 and many, many more) Please refer to my 14-part article series, "The Science of Judgment." God broke silence and used the Assyrian king to bring His judgment upon the Northern Kingdom, sending the ten tribes of Israel into captivity in 722 B.C. Later, when the Assyrian nation’s cup of iniquity became full, God sent another nation to destroy the Assyrians.

God used the Assyrian leader. He did not choose the Assyrian leader, and neither does He choose the leaders today. People in their nations choose or condone the continual leadership of their nations. The registered citizens of America elect the leaders of the United States to local, state, and federal government. That does not mean that these elected leaders are there by God’s will nor by God’s choice. People elected these leaders, and the majority of these people are pagan; not born-again Christians. The constituencies of countries rely on and cooperate with their leaders the best they can. Christians in America cooperate with their elected leaders and their elected president the best they can, but that does not mean that God put their president into office. All this means is that God allows men to choose their own leaders whether they are good or bad. The leader can be a follower of Jesus Christ or a religious hypocrite. It does not matter, as God allows men to rule the nations for now.

Adolph Hitler rose to prominence in Germany when Germany was in a financial crisis. He said he was a Christian, and he promised change. Yet, Hitler was a hypocrite. Hitler said, “You see, it’s been our misfortune to have the wrong religion. The Mohammedan religion too would have been much more compatible to us than Christianity. Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness?" Hitler even learned genocide from Islam. AdolphHitler used what is now called the Armenian holocaust as his model for an even greater holocaust. Ottoman Turks developed techniques that were later used by the Nazis, such as piling 90 people into a train car, which only had a capacity of 36, and left them locked inside for days--terrified, starving and often dead. Hitler was even more impressed with how the Turks got away with genocide. On August 22,1939, Hitler explained that his plans to invade Poland included formation of death squads that would exterminate men, women, and children. He asked, "Who, after all, speaks today of the annihilation of the Armenians?"

Heinrich Himmler, a high ranking Nazi, stated, "I have nothing against Islam because it educates the men in this division for me and promises them heaven if they fight and are killed in action, a very practical and attractive religion for soldiers.” (Walid Shoebat;“God’s War On Terror.”)

No, God did not put Adolph Hitler of Germany, Joseph Stalin of Russia, Nero Caesar of Rome, Mao Tse-tung of China, Kim Jong-il of North Korea, Idi Amin of Uganda, or President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran in office. Satan put these leaders in office through people who are not Christians or Christians that are too carnal and ignorant of the Bible to follow the guidelines for electing leaders.

It does not matter whether a person professes to be a Christian. The Bible admonishes us to test the spirit of the candidate.

1 John 4:1: "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world."

Does the person live what he professes, or is he just using the ignorant--and sometimes prejudiced--Christian community to get elected, much like Hitler did in Germany and Constantine did in Rome?

Constantine was the son of a Roman emperor. After his father died, he felt he was the rightful heir to the throne of the Roman Empire. So, he took his army and marched against Rome. Constantine’s army was vastly outnumbered by the army of his enemy, Maxentius, which stood between him and the throne. He needed the support of the Christians to be victorious, so he told the Christians that he now was a Christian himself because he saw the sign of the cross in the sky. He proceeded to put a cross on the Roman soldiers' shields, although the cross was the Ankh, a symbol for the sun god and not the cross representing the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. After gaining the support of the Christians, Constantine united with the pagans and took over as Emperor in 312 AD. He professed to be a Christian and sprinkled his soldiers with holy water, making them “instant” Christians. How ludicrous! There was no true repentance of sin nor profession of faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. They did not deny all other gods, but instead Constantine united the various forms of the Babylonian religion (Baal worship) into the Christian religion which became pagan Rome! No, dear saint, it does not matter what color of skin the political candidate has, the denomination to which he or she professes to belong, the party they are affiliated with, or even their profession of Christian faith. The Bible clearly warns us that wolves pretending to be Christians sneak into the church and try to fool even the elect. These wolves who say they are Christians have been placed there by Satan to rob, steal and destroy. Yes, the Bible clearly tells us we cannot judge a person's eternal soul to send them to heaven or hell, but the scriptures order us emphatically to judge the profession of their faith in Jesus Christ by their fruit (actions) in order for the saints not to be deceived and led astray by every whim of false doctrine.

Matthew 12:33-37 tells us: "33) Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. 34) O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. 35) A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. 36) But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37) For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned."

Many politicians are known to be liars and hypocrites, and, like Constantine, will say anything to get your Christian support and vote. When you vote, you must be Christian first. If not, you will vote for a racist and a liar because you are either ignorant or biased yourself. I do not care what color of skin the person has been born with. I only care that he is truly born-again and will protect my Christian freedoms and rights under the Constitution of the United States.

If the candidates do not support the Constitution, or if they get elected and will not back the original intent of the constitution and our freedoms contained in the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights, do not vote for them, and vote them out of office at the earliest time possible. Anything less fails to fulfill our responsibilities as Christians, and then we also fail as patriotic American citizens.

God’s laws are universal and they never fail.
