Dear Soldiers of the Cross,

Psalms 18:6, 8  "In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my God: ...There went up a smoke out of His nostrils, and fire out of His mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it."

I asked the Lord what I should share with you today.  For days I sought after Him to understand why I was so weary and felt heavy inside.  I repented and asked the Lord to forgive me for I felt no better than the dead church.  Most of us grow weary and we get tired, if I might say 'churched out'.  I heard the Lord say to me, "I want to spend time with you."  I understood He wants to touch me if I approach His presence.

The Lord wants to revive us again.  He waits for us to shut the world and all its distractions off, to pursue Him so that a flame can burn where we were once cold and empty.  He desires to heal, restore, fill and fan the flame that will protect us from our enemy.  As an individual, we need it first before we even pray for the nations, otherwise our prayers will be like smoke, that disappear into thin air with no fire in it.  Wake up, oh sleeping giant, the Lord wants to use you!

Now, my deepest prayer is that the Lord, through His Spirit, will give you counsel on what to pray for concerning this ministry and the servants of God.  For Him to speak to you and reveal the depths of Him on how to handle situations and challenges facing the ministry.  Write to us what the Lord speaks to you.

“Shut the world out, withdraw from all worldly thoughts and occupations, and shut yourself in alone with God, to pray to Him in secret.  Let this be your chief object in prayer, to realize the presence of your heavenly Father.” by Andrew Murray

Shalom
