Dear soldiers of the cross team,
Waiting for answered prayers can be a challenging and vulnerable experience, but it's essential to remember that delays are not denials. God often uses these waiting periods to refine our faith, prepare us for His blessings, and align events for His perfect timing.
Understanding the Reasons for Delayed Prayers
- Faith Refinement: Like Abraham, we grow spiritually through patience and trust (Habakkuk 2:3).
- Spiritual Preparation: Sometimes, we're not yet ready for what we're asking, and God's delay is an opportunity for growth (Ecclesiastes 3:1).
- Divine Timing: God's delays can lead to greater miracles, as seen in the story of Lazarus (John 11:6).
- Spiritual Warfare: Unseen battles can hinder our prayers, as Daniel experienced (Daniel 10:12-13).
- Unresolved Sin: Unrepented sin can block our prayers until we seek forgiveness (Psalm 66:18).
- A Better Plan: God's delays often protect us and lead to something greater, as promised in Jeremiah 29:11.
Responding to Delays with Faith and Perseverance
- Trust God's Wisdom: Even when we don't see results, God is working behind the scenes (Luke 1:45).
- Stay Persistent in Prayer: Keep praying with faith and perseverance, like the persistent widow (Luke 18:1-8).
- Grow Spiritually: Use the waiting time to deepen your faith and relationship with God.
- Surrender to His Will: Remember that God's "wait" or "no" is always for our good (Isaiah 55:8-9).
God is Never Late: if your prayer is delayed, take heart, God is still in control. His answer will come at the perfect time, and when it does, it will be far greater than what you expected. Keep trusting, keep praying, and don't lose faith.
Kindly pray for the upcoming trips to Kenya then Norway. May all meetings be divinely orchestrated for the advancement of the Kingdom.
Blessings, Adalia Hansen
Dear Prayer Partner:
- I spoke at a Holy Ghost Conference in Bellevue, WA and the Lord certainly spoke. Thank you for your prayers. Please continue to pray for all my speaking engagements, that God will anoint and bring His manifestations in those meetings.
- On February 18th, we fly to Kenya for meetings and leave Kenya March 9th close to midnight. Pray for our safety and most productive trip for the kingdom of God.
- Always pray for our finances to expand so the gospel can go out to a wider audience and our mission trips will continue without interruption.
- Also, please pray for the health and prosperity of our staff and partners as together we serve our Lord.
Blessings, Jonathan Hansen
