On June 20, 1996 at 0624hrs., God gave Rev. Jonathan Hansen a word of knowledge for Canada:
"Canada, oh Canada; a land of moral decadence. You have flaunted yourselves before the French; you have flaunted yourselves before the world. You say you love me, but who you love is purely yourselves. You have become a melting pot of many peoples and nations; and yes, you have also taken upon your nation their sins. They escaped their countries because of judgment falling on their countries. Judgment fell because they rejected the Truth of All the Ages; they have rejected me, the Holy Scriptures. Now they run to a new country and bring their arrogance into a land already filled with the pride of France and the Americans. Oh, Canada, your pride is exceedingly great; your haughtiness is getting repulsive; your immorality is exceedingly high because you have compromised my principles and values for what has become your people; a people who have destroyed their countries with their false religions and love of money. Now they are destroying a land I have created full of beauty and grace. Oh, yes, it seems that all is order, all is okay, but as quickly and suddenly as one finds out he is dying with an incurable disease, so will my judgments start to fall on you. Your land of beauty will start to dry up and disappear as the truth has disappeared from the hearts and lips of your pastors and politicians. As my Church has become a house void of truth, healing, power, and preservation, but instead has become a house of thieves, homosexuals and spiritual prostitutes, so the nation is becoming a people of sick values, beliefs and rebellious attitudes. Yes, judgment will start to fall sure and swift and the people who once boasted of their land of beauty, religious tolerance and open mindedness to all people and cultures, will boast no more -- but cry for what was and what should and could have been if only they had obeyed my commandments." People of Canada, God, who manifested himself in the person of Jesus Christ, is warning you that he is starting to shake your nation because your people are rejecting his way of life as found in the Bible. Your country has started to self-destruct; it's brought on by direct rebellion and rejection of the only God and truth found through Jesus Christ. Different philosophies and religions, sponsored from the doctrines of demons who have appeared before men as angels or have influenced their thoughts to create philosophies, which have been accepted over the Holy Scriptures, are directly responsible for the evil, immoral lifestyle of many Canadians today. Homosexuality, abortion, euthanasia, religions, cults and occults are the by-product of a nation, which in all reality has turned its back on the Living God. Canada is a nation that is filled with people who think they are their own little god and they will not listen to another authority. This prophecy was recorded on June 20, 1996 and conveyed to church leaders at that time. History of Canada:
Norse explorer, Leif Eriksson, is thought to be the first European to land in North America at Newfoundland around 1000 A.D. In 1497, John Cabot, an Italian in the service of Henry VII of England, reached Newfoundland. Canada was taken for France in 1534 by Jacques Cartier. The settlement of New France began in 1604 at Port Royal, which is now Nova Scotia. In 1608, Quebec was founded.
The English Hudson's Bay Company was established in 1670. Conflict between the French and English developed over the valuable fisheries and fur trade. In 1713, Newfoundland, Hudson Bay, and Nova Scotia were lost to England. During the Seven Years' War (1756-1763), England extended its conquest, and British general James Wolfe led victory over Gen. Louis Montcalm outside Quebec on September 13, 1759. The Treaty of Paris in 1763 gave England control. In 1849, the right of Canada to self-government was recognized. The dominion of Canada was created through the British North America Act of 1867. In 1869, Canada purchased land from the Hudson's Bay Company, which the provinces of Manitoba (1870), Alberta (1905), and Saskatchewan (1905) were formed. In 1871, British Columbia joined the dominion and Prince Edward Island joined in 1873. The country was linked from coast to coast in 1885 by the Canadian Pacific Railway. The Conservative Party, led by Sir John A. Macdonald, governed the country between 1866 and 1896, except the years 1873-1878. The Liberal Party took over in 1896 under Sir Wilfrid Laurier and ruled until 1911. By the Statute of Westminster in 1931 the British dominions were formally declared to be partner nations with Britain, "equal in status, in no way subordinate to each other," and bound together only by allegiance to a common Crown. Newfoundland became Canada's tenth province on March 31, 1949. The Liberal Party, led by William Lyon Mackenzie King, dominated Canadian politics until 1957, when it was succeeded by the Progressive Conservative Party. The Liberals, under the leadership of Lester B. Pearson, returned to power in 1963. Pearson remained prime minister until 1968, when he retired and was replaced by Pierre Elliott Trudeau. In 1976, the Parti Québécois (PQ) won the provincial Quebec elections, and René Lévesque became premier. The Quebec government passed Bill 101 in 1977, which established rules promoting the French-speaking culture. Only French was to be used for commercial signs and for most public school instruction. Many of Bill 101's provisions were later amended. Quebec held a referendum in May 1980 on whether it should seek independence from Canada. The referendum was defeated by 60% of the voters. Queen Elizabeth II signed the Constitution Act (also called the Canada Act) in Ottawa on April 17, 1982, cutting the last legal tie between Canada and Britain. The constitution retains Queen Elizabeth as queen of Canada and keeps Canada's membership in the Commonwealth. The constitution was accepted by every province except Quebec. In the national election on September 4, 1984, the Progressive Conservative Party scored an overwhelming victory. The Conservatives, led by Brian Mulroney, won the highest political majority in Canadian history. Mulroney was re-elected in November 1988. Brian Mulroney's popularity declined as the economy experienced a long recession, leading to his resignation. In June 1993, the governing Progressive Conservative Party chose Defense Minister Kim Campbell as its leader, making her the first female prime minister in Canadian history. The national election in October 1993 resulted in the return of the Liberal Party and installation of Jean Chrétien as prime minister. The Quebec referendum on secession in October 1995 was narrowly rejected. On April 1, 1999, the Northwest Territories were officially divided to create a new territory in the east that would be governed by Canada's Inuits. In July 2000, Stockwell Day of the Canadian Alliance Party emerged as the leader of Canada's opposition. However, in November 2000 elections, Prime Minister Jean Chrétien won a landslide victory for a third term. Canada has introduced some of the world's most liberal social policies. Medical marijuana for the terminally or chronically ill was legalized in 2001 and the country began legally dispensing marijuana by prescription in July 2003. In 2003, Ontario and British Columbia legalized same-sex marriage. In December 2003, Chrétien stepped down and handed the prime ministership to former finance minister Paul Martin. In June 2004, Martin was re-elected prime minister, but the Liberal Party lost its majority in parliament. In 2005, the Liberal Party was hit with a scandal involving the misappropriation of government funds. In July 2005, Canada legalized gay marriage throughout the country. Conservatives won January 2006 parliamentary elections. Conservative leader Stephen Harper became prime minister in February. In June 2006, police arrested 17 suspected Islamist terrorists in Toronto. In November, Prime Minister Harper succeeded in passing a motion to recognize Quebec as "a nation within a united Canada." In February 2007, Canada's Supreme Court struck down a law that permitted foreign terrorism suspects to be detained indefinitely without charges while waiting for deportation. Prime Minister Harper was re-elected in October 2008, but the Conservatives failed to win a majority in the House of Commons. In December 2008, Prime Minister Harper suspended Parliament to avoid a no-confidence vote. Harper created further controversy when he appointed 18 Conservatives to Canada's un-elected Senate. In the May 2, 2011 election, the Conservative Party won a parliamentary majority. The New Democrats became the official opposition after the Liberal Party lost more than half their seats. Bloc Québécois, a separatist party in Quebec, was nearly eliminated entirely from Parliament. In December 2011, Canada became the first country to formally withdraw from the Kyoto Protocol on reducing emissions of greenhouse gasses. In September 2012, one person was killed in a shooting at a victory rally in Montreal for the separatist Parti Quebecois. In April 2013, Canada stopped an attack planned on a US-bound train in Toronto. Two Arab men were arrested. Officials said the bombers acted with support from al-Qaeda elements in Iran. On October 20, 2014, a car driven by Martin Rouleau-Coulture struck two people. The driver was killed after a confrontation with police. On October 22, a soldier was shot and killed while guarding the National War Memorial in Ottawa. Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, the gunman who was on a terror watch list, stormed the Parliament building and was killed by police. © 1996 World Ministries International The following are some Scriptures that deal with end-time events.
