The program lays out the case of how Darwin's theory of evolution,
natural selection and "survival of the fittest" fueled Hitler's ovens.
It features 14 scholars, scientists and authors who outline the grim
consequences of Darwin's unproven theories.
"No Darwin, no Hitler," said Dr. Kennedy, the host of DARWIN'S
DEADLY LEGACY. "Hitler tried to speed up evolution, to help it along,
and millions suffered and died in unspeakable ways because of it."
Francis Galton, Darwin's cousin, founded the eugenics movement
that led to Hitler's atrocities when the National Socialist Workers
Party took over Germany and Austria. Galton campaigned for :judicious
marriages" to breed a superior race of humanity. Hitler "clearly was
drawing on Darwinian ideas," says Richard Weikart, a professor of
modern European history at California State University, Stanislaus.
"I highly recommend people watch this progr am," Dr. Baehr added.
