New TV Special Saturday and Sunday Links Darwin to Hitler

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

HOLLYWOOD, CA (ANS) -- Author and Christian broadcaster Dr. D. James Kennedy connects the dots between Charles Darwin and Adolf Hitler in the new TV special DARWIN'S DEADLY LEGACY, a groundbreaking inquiry into the chilling impact of Darwin's theory of evolution.

The new documentary airs nationwide Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 26 and 27. Station listings and more information are available at www.coralridge.org/Darwin.
"DARWIN'S DEADLY LEGACY is must-see TV," said Dr. Ted Baehr, publisher of MOVIEGUIDE®, a family guide to movies and entertainment located at www.movieguide.org.  "Parents should invite their science teachers over to watch this program."
The program lays out the case of how Darwin's theory of evolution, natural selection and "survival of the fittest" fueled Hitler's ovens. It features 14 scholars, scientists and authors who outline the grim consequences of Darwin's unproven theories.
"No Darwin, no Hitler," said Dr. Kennedy, the host of DARWIN'S DEADLY LEGACY. "Hitler tried to speed up evolution, to help it along, and millions suffered and died in unspeakable ways because of it."
Francis Galton, Darwin's cousin, founded the eugenics movement that led to Hitler's atrocities when the National Socialist Workers Party took over Germany and Austria. Galton campaigned for :judicious marriages" to breed a superior race of humanity. Hitler "clearly was drawing on Darwinian ideas," says Richard Weikart, a professor of modern European history at California State University, Stanislaus.
"I highly recommend people watch this progr am," Dr. Baehr added.
